The handheld controller puts travel, cutting and head positioning in the operator's hands from a separate operating position. Hall-effect joysticks include centre calibration, with commands received through the machine's integrated control system. TS-BC1000-30 has a specified remote-control range of 200 m, subject to the operating environment, obstructions and radio conditions. From a position with a clear view of the machine and work area, the operator can coordinate forward movement, rotor operation and hydraulic head adjustment.
